Delicate: Aromatic, with notes of ripe apple, chamomile, and almond.

Medium:  Bright and herbaceous, with olive leaf, green tea, and thyme. A lingering spiciness with a hint of bitterness.

Bold: Fresh-cut grass, floral notes, green banana, and fine herbs. Silky and clean, with a pleasant bitterness and a spicy black pepper finish.

Pro tip:
Keep your olive oil fresh and flavorful. Store it in a cool, dark spot, away from heat sources. Our aficio22 bottles are not only stylish but also protective, designed to block out harmful heat and light. This ensures your oil stays delicious over time.

Culinary use:
Delicate is perfect for dishes that require a milder flavor, such as salads, fish, and light sauces. Medium has a more pronounced flavor and can be used in dishes such as pasta, poultry, and grilled vegetables. Bold has a robust flavor, making it ideal for hearty dishes like red meat, stews, and soups.

An Olive Oil from the Garden of Eden

I bought a three-bottle pack of aficio22, actually one of each type, some time ago. The package came quickly and in perfect shape. I first tried Delicate and Medium. It was a taste from heaven! They took my experience of EVOO to a new level. The right balance of spiciness and bitterness and the freshly sharp aroma are not typical features of an ordinary olive oil off the shelf of your local grocery store. We tried Medium and Delicate on green salad, Caprese salad, and simply as a dip with toasted Ciabatta, and they were marvelous. In fact, the aroma enhanced the taste of the other ingredients. At last, we opened the bottle of Bold. And what an appropriate appellation. If you think you're riding a stallion with Medium and Delicate, be prepared to ride a bull when trying Bold. Make your next pan con tomate soaked with Bold and try to tame the unbridled kicks on your palate for at least eight seconds, and enjoy the finish, which is not as jerky as it sounds but smooth and pleasant.
The other week I bought a bottle of Paso Robles' Austin Hope for $60 and certainly enjoyed it in the company of a friend. It lasted us a couple of hours. While sipping the well balanced Cab, we munched on appetizers dressed with Aficio22. I must say there was no rivalry between the two heavenly potions. They were all complementary. The $45 investment on Aficio22 served me that evening and lasted many more while I had to content myself with a cheaper wine from that evening on.
